Huge Hole is Found in the Universe
Astronomers have found an absolutely huge hole in the universe estimated to be a billion light years wide. The hole is completely empty with no gas, stars or galaxies. This is not however the first time astronomers have discovered holes in the universe but it is by huge comparison the largest one ever discovered.
Lawrence Rudnick of the University of Minnesota has said “Not only has no one ever found a void this big, but we never even expected to find one this size”. Lilya R Williams of the same University also backed up this statement and they have submitted their findings to the Astrophysical Journal for publication.
“What we’ve found is not normal, based on either observational studies or on computer simulations of the large-scale evolution of the Universe” said Liliya R. Williams.
